Utilizing the power of the sun may seem like a modern, trendy topic. But, the concept has existed for thousands of years. As early as the
7th century, magnifying glasses were used to redirect sunlight to start fires. Our fascination with future potential has continued to grow ever since. In 2009, the original Solar Appreciation Day was celebrated on Mach 11th. Since that time, many regions have designated the second Friday of March as an annual date. This day celebrates the growing world wide public awareness of solar energy as a sustainable alternative to traditional energy.
